Yudit M. Pomares, LMT
Yudit M. Pomares was born in Habana, Cuba on September 2, 1978. Daughter of a doctor specialized in hematology, and a Literature High School teacher, she was raised in the middle of classrooms, books, students, and healthy patients – grateful for the care and dedication of their doctor and teacher. It was then that she began to notice the appreciation of those who were helped.
Graduating with high qualifications, then getting a job in a major bank of the Havana Capital, it was something that happened quickly, and just that fast, she realized that she was on the wrong path. Her intentions to help others fell short in reality, as she found that the bank’s environment was distant and cold, and she couldn’t empathize entirely with her customers, at least not in the same way she saw her parents correspond with their patients and students daily in their consultation and classroom.
In the midst of all this, Yudit got married and had two beautiful girls.
In 2009, Yudit and her family emigrated to the US, and a new page came before her, deciding to start a new path, more focused on the well-being of others, paying total attention to her calling, her vocation.
In 2010, she graduated from “The Praxis Institute” with a Diploma of Therapeutic Massage. The following year, she obtained an Advanced Therapeutic Massage Program & Spa Specialist Program.
Yudit has achieved several certifications, some of which include:
- “The Manual Lymph Drainage Institute International” Holistic Manual Lymph Drainage Certification. January of 2011
- “The Praxis Institute” Body Wrap Certification. March of 2011
- “Massage Envy” Hot Stone Certification. November of 2015
- “Massage Envy” Prenatal Massage Certification. November of 2015
Now, with her career in motion, fulfilled by the results she helps her clients achieve, Yudit is an enthusiastic and skilled massage therapist, practicing for more than 9 years. Her specialties include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Prenatal Massage, providing wellness to her clients, relieving them from aches and enhancing mobility, allowing them better flexibility, enabling them to be more successful in all aspects of their professional and personal lives.
